You know, Tod, I've always found baffling that the most important Christian holiday is Easter but not Christmas, as if torturing and killing a poor, good young man is something more remarkable than the birth of the Saviour himself. Well, they say, resurrection is kinda big deal for Christianity. But how many resurrected people do we know? Just one would be enough, whereas being born is a miracle that happens every day, everywhere.
Our species is obsessed with murder. There's a literary genre of Murder, television series, but not much on Birth. Not that I want to watch Birthing movies.
I'm more mystic/pagan that christian anyway, so don't pay that much attention.
Now here's a Christmas spirit I can relate to.
